If you suspect your teen might be in an abusive relationship, listen and given them support.
Do not isolate your teen by giving ultimatums (“If you don’t break up with them right away, you’re grounded”).
Express to them that you are worried and be a good listener.
Offering support to someone can make a big difference.
Help find additional support through your pediatrician, school counselor, church or community groups and work with your teen on deciding the next steps.
