She was a wonderful, kind and caring person with a beautiful smile.
She became a friend and had a lot of influence on me as a teenager. I first met Ann at Homer Lake where I taught Environmental Education.
Although we can not be with the family on Tuesday, we will be there in spirit and saying our good-byes with the rest of the family. Ann and her first graders participated in many nature programs with me.
Later I was fortunate to begin my first grade teaching career in her classroom immediately after she retired.
Gerry was my dissertation chairman from 1979 to 1982. Some of my favorite childhood memories were spending time with the Reid family at Grandpa's lake growing up.
